Em jogo disputado, Confiança e Lagarto ficam no 0 a 0

A abertura da terceira rodada do Campeonato Sergipano Estadium.bet começou com muita emoção e sem gols. Na noite desta terça-feira, 21, o Confiança empatou em 0 a 0 com o Lagarto na Arena Batistão, em Aracaju.

Tanto o Confiança como o Lagarto seguem invictos nesta competição: o Dragão tem duas vitórias e um empate; o Verdão tem uma vitória e dois empates. Se junta ao time de invictos o Itabaiana com duas vitórias – o Tricolor da Serra enfrenta no domingo, 26, o Boca Junior pelo encerramento da terceira rodada.

O Confiança terá pouco tempo de descanso: volta a campo no sábado, 25, às 20h, para enfrentar o ABC-RN, na Arena Batistão, em Aracaju, pela primeira rodada da Copa do Nordeste. O Lagarto terá um tempo maior de descanso: volta a campo no sábado, 1º de fevereiro, às 15h30, para enfrentar o Boca Junior, no Fernando França, em Carmópolis.

O JOGO

O duelo foi disputado desde os primeiros minutos do primeiro tempo. E foi o Confiança quem começou assustando. Logo aos cinco minutos, Nirley chutou da entrada da área, mas a bola foi para fora. Dois minutos depois foi a vez de Amaral arriscar para o gol e assustar o goleiro Wellington.

Acuado e desfalcado dos atacantes Ila e Thiago Santos, o Lagarto respondeu com o volante Sapé, autor do único gol do Verdão neste campeonato. O camisa 8 percebeu o goleiro Rafael adiantado e arriscou do meio de campo: ligado no lance, o arqueiro proletário espalmou para escanteio.

Apesar do lance, o Confiança continuava mais agressivo em busca do gol, enquanto o Lagarto se segurou como pode através do goleiro Wellington e das boas atuações da dupla de zaga Yan e Suélio. Apesar de boas investidas dos laterais, o Confiança não conseguiu tirar o zero do placar no primeiro tempo.

Na etapa final, o placar também não se alterou, mas o Confiança continuou a levar perigo ao gol defendido por Wellington. Aos quatro minutos, Rafael Villa cruzou para a área e Renan Gorne dominou no peito. O camisa 9 se atrapalhou com o companheiro Marcelinho e chutou fraco nas mãos de Wellington.

Quase na metade do jogo, as duas torcidas quase gritaram gol. Aos 20 minutos, o Lagarto chegou com perigo: Anderson ficou cara a cara com Rafael, mas chutou torto para fora. No minuto seguinte, Marcelinho arrancou pela direita e cruzou rasteiro para a área. Na marca do pênalti, Ítalo acertou a trave.

Aos 35 minutos, o Confiança perdeu outra chance. Após passe errado do Lagarto, Reis recebeu na cara do goleiro, mas perdeu a bola. Na sequência, Reis recuperou e deixou para Alysson que chutou: Wellington, fora do gol, conseguiu se esticar e evitar o pior para o Verdão.

A proposta do segundo tempo continuava com o Confiança levando perigo ao gol defendido por Wellington. Só que o Lagarto foi mais eficiente na defesa com as boas atuações do goleiro Wellington e dos zagueiros Yan e Suélio. Nem mesmo os sete minutos de acréscimos foram suficientes para mudar o placar.

In a stiff game, Confiança and Lagarto are 0 to 0

The opening of the third round of the Sergipano Estadium.bet Championship started with a lot of emotion and no goals. On Tuesday night, 21st January, Confiança drew 0 to 0 with Lagarto at Arena Batistão, in Aracaju.

Both Confiança and Lagarto remain unbeaten in this competition: the Dragon has two wins and one draw; Verdão has a win and two draws. Itabaiana joins the unbeaten team with two victories - Tricolor da Serra faces Boca Junior on Sunday, January 26th, for the end of the third round.

Confiança will have little time to rest: he will return to the field on Saturday, January 25th, at 8:00 pm, to face ABC-RN, at Arena Batistão, in Aracaju, for the first round of the Northeast Cup. Lagarto will have a longer time to rest: he will return to the field on Saturday, February 1st, at 3:30 pm, to face Boca Junior, at Fernando França, in Carmópolis.

THE MATCH

The duel was played from the first minutes of the first half. And it was Confiança who started scaring. After five minutes, Nirley kicked from the edge of the area, but the ball went out. Two minutes later Amaral take a chance and scare goalkeeper Wellington.

Cornered and embarrassed by strikers Ila and Thiago Santos, Lagarto responded with midfielder Sapé, scorer of Verdão's only goal in this championship. The number 8 noticed the goalkeeper Rafael in advance and risked from the middle of the field: connected in the move, the proletarian archer spread it to the corner.

Despite the move, Confiança continued to be more aggressive in search of the goal, while Lagarto held on as well as he could through goalkeeper Wellington and the good performances of the defending pair Yan and Suélio. Despite good attacks from the flanks, Confiança failed to clear the scoreboard in the first half.

In the final stage, the score did not change, but Confiança continued to endanger the goal defended by Wellington. At four minutes, Rafael Villa crossed into the area and Renan Gorne dominated in the chest. Shirt 9 fumbled with teammate Marcelinho and kicked weakly in Wellington's hands.

Almost halfway through the game, the two fans almost shouted a goal. At 20 minutes, Lagarto arrived with danger: Anderson came face to face with Rafael, but kicked out crookedly. In the next minute, Marcelinho started from the right and crossed low to the area. In the penalty spot, Italo hit the post.

In the 35th minute, Confiança lost another chance. After Lagarto's wrong pass, Reis received it in the goalkeeper's face, but lost the ball. In the sequence, Reis recovered and left it to Alysson who kicked: Wellington, out of the goal, managed to stretch and avoid the worst for Verdão.

The second-half proposal continued with Confiança causing danger to the goal defended by Wellington. But Lagarto was more efficient in defense with the good performances of goalkeeper Wellington and defenders Yan and Suélio. Not even the seven minutes of extra time was enough to change the score.
