Representantes sergipanos conhecem adversários na Copinha

As quatro equipes que irão representar Sergipe na 51ª edição da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior 2020 conheceram na manhã desta quinta-feira, 28, as sedes e os adversários na maior competição de categorias de base do Brasil. O campeonato, em 2020, terá 32 chaves e 128 times em campo. 

Segundo a Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF), o torneio tem início previsto para 2 de janeiro e a final será no estádio do Pacaembu, em 25 de janeiro, data do aniversário de 466 anos da cidade de São Paulo. 

Os sergipanos enfrentarão, cada um deles, uma equipe que disputa a elite do Campeonato Brasileiro Adulto. 

O Confiança, que garantiu a vaga na Copinha após ser campeão do estadual sub-20 A-1 deste ano, ficou no grupo 18, com sede em Sertãozinho. A equipe terá como adversários: Sertãozinho-SP, Goiás e Penapolense-SP. 

O Sergipe, que carimbou o passaporte para a Copa São Paulo após ser vice-campeão do estadual sub-20 A1, ficou no grupo 27, com sede em Barueri. A equipe terá como adversários: Oeste-SP, Cruzeiro-MG e Trindade-GO. 

O Socorro Sport Club, que garantiu a vaga na 51ª edição da Copa após ser campeão do estadual sub-20 A-2, ficou no grupo 15, com sede em Itu. A equipe, que já treina em território paulista, terá como adversários: Ituano-SP, Fluminense e Vilhenense-RO.

O Olímpico de Itabaianinha herdou a vaga na Copinha após duas situações inusitadas: a primeira quando a FSF conquistou, na quinta-feira, 21, mais uma vaga para o estado de Sergipe na competição; e a segunda quando, no dia seguinte, o Lagarto recusou o convite por falta de tempo para definir a logística. 

Na Copinha, o Olímpico ficou no grupo 2, com sede em Marília. A equipe, quarta colocada no estadual sub-20 A-1 deste ano, vai enfrentar: Marília-SP, Santos e Timon EC-MA.

Sergipe representatives meet opponents at Copinha

The four teams that will represent Sergipe in the 51st edition of the Sao Paulo Junior Football Cup 2020 met on the morning of Thursday, 28, the headquarters and opponents in the largest competition of grassroots categories in Brazil. The championship in 2020 will have 32 keys and 128 teams on the field.

According to the Paulista Football Federation (PFF), the tournament is scheduled to start January 2 and the final will be at Pacaembu stadium on January 25, the date of the 466th anniversary of the city of São Paulo.

The Sergipe teams will each face a team that disputes the elite of the Brazilian Adult Championship.

Confiança, which secured the spot in Copinha after being champion of the state under-20 A-1 this year, was in group 18, based in Sertãozinho. The team will have as opponents: Sertãozinho-SP, Goiás and Penapolense-SP.

Sergipe, which stamped his passport for the Sao Paulo Cup after being runner-up to the state sub-20 A-1, was in group 27, based in Barueri. The team will have as opponents: Oeste-SP, Cruzeiro-MG and Trindade-GO.

The Socorro Sport Club, which secured a place in the 51st edition of the World Cup after being champion of the state under-20 A-2, was in group 15, based in Itu. The team, which already trains in São Paulo, will have as opponents: Ituano-SP, Fluminense and Vilhenense-RO.

The Olimpico of Itabaianinha inherited the spot in Copinha after two unusual situations: the first when the SIFF won, on Thursday, 21, another spot for the state of Sergipe in the competition; and the second when, the next day, the Lizard declined the invitation for lack of time to define the logistics.

In Copinha, Olímpico was in group 2, based in Marília. The team, placed fourth in the state under-20 A-1 this year, will face: Marilia-SP, Santos and Timon EC-MA.
